HAITI RELIEF EFFORT
ALT Technologies is working with several Aid Organizations and has presented its Proposal for Reconstructing Haiti using the ALT Evergreen™ Disaster Resistant Home. ALT has also designed a modular building system using the same material for schools, hospitals and other community buildings. President, Lloyd Carlson, says, "We are working closely with other organizations to provide relief housing which also is a permanent solution to problems their community faces".
Featured Model
ALT proposes to provide small family units comprising of between 96 and 400 sq ft homes with just basic internal structures but which can be adapted to meet more permanent needs should it become necessary.

NEW ORLEANS
On the morning of Monday, August 29, 2005 Hurricane Katrina came ashore in southeast Louisiana, only a category 3 storm but it caused wide spread damage to property and lives and the whole infrastructure of New Orleans. Nearly five years on and NO is still reeling from this disaster. ALT has been contracted to provide 'model' homes in the 9th Ward (one of the worst hit areas) and is working on a re-development program with a large developer. More details of this project will be posted soon.

"I promise you this," Obama said during his first visit to the city as president. "Together we will rebuild this region and we will build it stronger than before."
